I am pretty new here and in a learning curve but am willing to search vital records as allowed by county officials: birth, marriage & death. Will charge only for actual expenses, i.e., copying fees, etc. Typical wait time would be less than 2 weeks, depending on volume of data requested.
I can look up and photograph death certificates for all Maryland counties if you give me the date of death (county might be helpful, too), from the period in which the various counties began keeping records (about 1900) to about 1970. Later records may or may not be available as access to these records changes periodically at the Archives. (Baltimore City Death Records are available from about 1876.) I am able to look up some birth and marriage certificates, but again, I need dates and counties (if possible). I can also look up obituaries in the Baltimore Sun, Capital Gazette (Annapolis), Washington Post, Frederick News-Post. If there is something else you think the Maryland State Archives might have, check with me and I'll let you know if I can help you.
I'll look up vital records and public records. Let me know your interest and I'll let you know if it is in my scope.
